Creating Zones Map using Topography

Select the field in the tree, click Create Zones Map button, select Single-layer type, and then Next.
Select the Topography data type to proceed.
In the next step select the most appropriate Digital Elevation option:
Elevation – absolute numbers
Slope – the measure of steepness or the degree of inclination of a feature relative to the horizontal plane
Aspect – the compass direction that a slope faces
Hillshade – a shaded relief effect for terrain visualization

Relief Position – defined as the difference between a central pixel and the mean of its surrounding cells.
Ruggedness – defined as the mean difference between a central pixel and its surrounding cells.
Roughness – the degree of irregularity of the surface. It’s calculated by the largest inter-cell difference between a central pixel and its surrounding cell.
After you have selected the required value, click Next.
In the next step, you can edit the title, change the number of zones, select a Data Classification Type, and define Minimum Polygon Area in square meters. Click Run Analysis to proceed.
The analysis may run for up to 60 seconds, depending on the parameters you have specified.
Once it is finished, click Save & Finish.
After it is saved, you will see the following message:
You can either create another zones map, assign the rates or go to the Zones map you have just created. If you navigate to the zone map you will see a similar view.
