GeoPard customers can take advantage of a valuable feature: the ability to import various data sets such as Boundaries, Yield data, As-Planted/As-Applied information, and Tillage datasets directly from John Deere Operations Center to the GeoPard platform. To begin this process, users can simply access the Import Data menu and choose the option From MyJohnDeere to initiate the data import from John Deere.
To import all the available data, follow these steps:
Select a field and click Import All button or use the select functionality.
If a correct organization is not available, then you should go to <here_you_can_change_organizations_link> and add them. If the JohnDeere organization is disabled (the name has grey color), then add access to it in John Deere Operations Center.
Click Import Selected button.
Select an appropriate Import Settings:
If you want to import only boundaries, then select the Field boundaries radio button, and click the Done button to start the importing process. If boundaries were already imported, then they will be updated.
If you want to import boundary and related assets, then select the Field boundaries + Data files radio button, and click the Next button. If boundaries were already imported, then they will be updated. If data files were already imported, they will be ignored during the next re-upload.
If you want to import assets only, then select the Data files radio button, and click the Next button. If data files related to the selected boundaries were already imported, they will be ignored during the next re-upload.
After clicking, you will have the opportunity to select Type and Period of interested assets. The Period dropdown also has the opportunity to select a date range.
After selecting Type and Period, click the Done button to start the importing process.
The collection process for assets occurs in the background, ensuring a seamless experience for users. Once the assets have been collected and processed, they will automatically appear on the Operations Log page in the File Upload section of the platform. You will be able to see the related details associated with each asset, allowing you to conveniently access and work with the imported data.
