Automated Variable Rates Distribution Tool is now your go-to assistant for creating precise, efficient application plans. It allows you to manage multiple agricultural inputs like phosphorus, potassium, and seeds - each with their own settings and logic. Distribution methods are flexible, letting you allocate inputs based on total amounts or target averages, and set differences between zones either as percentages or absolute values.
Enhancements include:
Normal and Reverse modes: adjust rates according to field potential - go higher in stronger zones or the opposite for growth regulators.
Real-time savings: compare your plan versus flat-rate applications to see how much you're saving.
Colour-coded interface and histograms: see zone-by-zone application differences.
Min & Max values thresholds
This tool turns complex agronomic calculations into an intuitive, interactive experience - helping you make smarter decisions, cut costs, and improve field performance. Perfect for both strategic planning and real-world implementation.
Clearer Legends & Visualization for Machinery Datasets (Yield, As-Applied)
We’ve significantly improved how Machinery datasets (such as those from harvesters, seeders, sprayers, or spreaders) are displayed. GeoPard now uses a cleaner color scheme to make maps easier to read and interpret. Legends now more accurately reflect the data and follow familiar schemas, which helps you quickly understand application patterns without the need for additional cleanup.
Automated calculation of average and Total Product amount
Easier interpretation of a data layer, without additional manual processing
Gradient-free color styling makes class differences clearer.
Automated cleaning of outliers (we apply grey color for such points and polygons)
These changes help your as-applied and machinery-derived data look more meaningful right from upload - no extra steps needed.
Upload Date in Dataset Overview
You can now see the exact Upload Date of your Soil, Yield, and As-Applied datasets in the legend Overview block. This makes it easier to track and manage your data, especially when operation dates are missing.
Satellite Indices Descriptions
Direct Links in John Deere Notifications
Map layer export success notifications now include a clickable link to the corresponding asset in the John Deere Operations Center. This helps you jump directly to your exported data.
Access to Planet Imagery and Subscription Status
We’ve reorganized key account and subscription information into a more accessible layout. Hovering over the area usage indicator now brings up a convenient tooltip showing your subscription plan details, including Planet imagery limits. The same information is also available on the Settings page. These improvements ensure that even on small screens, essential data remains just a tap away.
Improved Farm and Field Offboarding
We’ve added highlighted warnings when deleting a field or farm: "Deleting this field won’t reduce your usage limit. Your used area count will reset only at the start of a new subscription period."
Also, when deleting a farm, you'll now see an extra confirmation message listing the shared users it will affect and prompting you to confirm that all necessary data has been exported.
Import of Non-WGS84 Files
We’ve made it easier to work with files in non-WGS84 coordinate systems.
When users upload ZIP files containing shapefiles in non-WGS84 and with a projection file (Field Boundaries or Soil data), GeoPard will now automatically recognize the .prj file and convert the shapefile to WGS84.
This improvement makes onboarding your data smoother.
Improved User Experience for Cleaning & Calibration - 1-click solution
We’ve streamlined the interface for advanced yield cleaning and calibration workflows, making them more intuitive. The Run button is now active by default when required parameters are set, allowing users to launch operations without extra clicks. If inputs are incomplete, the system displays clear validation messages and auto-scrolls to the first issue, helping users quickly resolve problems and avoid stalled workflows.
Localized Zones Now Generate in Seconds
Calculation of the Localized Classification for zones has been dramatically accelerated.
Generating spatially-aware zones that previously took minutes now completes in under a minute without loss of accuracy.
Full Pin Titles for Soil Sampling Workflow
Pin titles are now fully visible in the interface, making it easier to read and manage scouting or sampling notes with long names.
Field Boundaries Exported More Intuitively
Export Field Boundaries to John Deere is now located under the Export button and is no longer hidden under Field Operations.
Automatic As-Applied Attribute Selection
To speed up interactions with AsApplied datasets, GeoPard now pre-selects relevant applied rate attributes for such datasets, similar to how Yield datasets are handled. This small feature helps reduce clicks and eliminates guesswork.
Azure Maps Integration
Microsoft is phasing out Bing Maps, so GeoPard has switched to Azure Maps. This transition preserves existing map functionality. It also guarantees uninterrupted service for users who prefer Microsoft-based map layers over Mapbox.
