# QGIS: Schimbă valorile din șir de caractere în numere în shapefile
Convertește atributele text în valori numerice în QGIS pentru analiză și import.
În QGIS, puteți converti un șir de caractere într-un număr folosind instrumentul „Calculator de câmpuri”. Mai întâi, deschideți tabela de atribute pentru stratul pe care doriți să-l modificați. Apoi, faceți clic pe butonul „Deschide calculatorul de câmpuri”. În caseta „Expresie”, tastați „to\_real(” urmat de numele câmpului care conține șirul pe care doriți să-l convertiți și de paranteza de închidere. De exemplu, pentru a converti un câmp de tip șir numit „string\_field” într-un câmp numeric, introduceți „to\_real("string\_field")” în caseta Expresie. De asemenea, puteți modifica numele câmpului de ieșire și tipul de date selectând opțiunile corespunzătoare. În cele din urmă, faceți clic pe „OK” pentru a finaliza conversia. Câmpul original de tip șir va rămâne în tabela de atribute, iar noul câmp numeric va fi adăugat la tabel.
