Organizations and Roles
Manage organizations, user roles, and permissions for secure team collaboration in GeoPard.
GeoPard User and Role Management
GeoPard user and role management gives you flexible, secure control over Permissions and Data Access for each user.
Every GeoPard account needs Permissions. Accounts inside an Organization also need Data Access.
Permissions define the actions a user can perform in GeoPard. There are four roles: ReadOnly, Assistant, Farmer, and Admin.
Data Access defines which farm data a user can access.
Externals are standard GeoPard accounts that access shared farm data without belonging to an Organization.
Users can access farm data shared with them through an Organization.
Advisors can access all farm data across the full Organization.
The Admin role acts as the organization owner and billing owner. Admins configure Permissions and Data Access for other users.

Admin view
If your account has the Admin role, you can create new organizations and invite collaborators. Click Your Account in the left menu. Then select Organizations.
To create an organization, click the Add Organization button.
Enter the organization name and the account owner's information. You can change this later on the Settings tab. Then click Save.

The organization is now created. To invite users, click Invite.
Enter the user's email. For more than one user, click the Add Email button. Only existing accounts can be added to the organization. Then click Invite.

When users are added, you will see a success notification.

Invited users will receive an email.

Now you can review the organization's user list and manage it: assign roles, invite new users, or delete users.

User and advisor view
If your account is part of one or more organizations under the User or Advisor role, you can review them on the Organizations page. Click Your Account in the left menu. Then select Organizations.

You will see cards with the organization name, your role, and the admin's contact details. A Billing label means all usage credits are collected in that organization.
Non-user view
If your account is not part of any organization, you won’t see the Organizations page under Your Account. Actions you perform are billed to your own account.
