# QGIS: Endre tekstverdier til tallverdier i shapefilen

Konverter tekstattributter til numeriske verdier i QGIS for analyse og import.

I QGIS kan du konvertere en streng til et tall ved å bruke verktøyet «Feltkalkulator». Først åpner du attributtabellen for laget du vil endre. Deretter klikker du på knappen «Åpne feltkalkulator». I feltet «Uttrykk» skriver du «to\_real(» etterfulgt av navnet på feltet som inneholder strengen du vil konvertere, og avsluttende parentes. For eksempel, for å konvertere et strengfelt med navnet «string\_field» til et numerisk felt, skriver du «to\_real("string\_field")» i feltet «Uttrykk». Du kan også endre navnet på utdatafeltet og datatype ved å velge de riktige alternativene. Til slutt klikker du på «OK» for å fullføre konverteringen. Det opprinnelige strengfeltet vil fortsatt ligge i attributtabellen, mens det nye numeriske feltet blir lagt til i tabellen.
