# Heterogenitetsfaktor
Mål variasjonen innen skiftet for å identifisere skifter der soner og variable mengder gir mest verdi.
En av funksjonene GeoPard tilbyr, er heterogenitetsfaktoren for jordene dine. For å se den, åpne det aktuelle jordet, velg sonekart og klikk på **Info** -ikonet på kartet. Sidepanelet vil bli åpnet.
Heterogenitetsfaktoren er tallet som viser graden av heterogenitet/variabilitet i jordene dine. Jo mer variasjon et jordet har, desto større er behovet for presisjonslandbruksteknologi. Den er spesielt nyttig når den brukes sammen med GeoPards flerårige analyser (30 års historikk).
Hvis du har mange jorder, kan det hjelpe deg å forstå hvilke jorder du bør ta først med [Variabel tildeling](http://test/) (såing, gjødsling, sprøyting).
Ved å kombinere GeoPards heterogenitetsfaktor med flerårige analyser kan du spare mest på plantevernmidler i de mest heterogene jordene.
