# Release Sep 2026: Yield Report, AI-Assistant attachments, Guidance lines, Tillage Workplans

Turn harvest data into profitable VRA decisions with Yield Report, machinery guidance, AI Assistant attachments, and John Deere tillage exports.

## Yield Report tab on the Field page

The new **Yield Report** tab sits alongside Data Layers and Field Details. It turns harvest data into zone-level decisions. Review field performance, rate response, and next actions.

The report prefers **cleaned and calibrated** datasets. Compare yield against a **zones map** to validate the prescription. Compare against an **as-applied map** to validate machine execution. Use both views to separate agronomic issues from execution issues.

View KPI tiles for average and total yield, harvested area, and **variability (CV %)**. Explore split and overlay map views, rate comparisons, zone summaries, yield distributions, and multi-year trends. **Rate vs Yield** orders zones by rate. It highlights where extra input stopped paying.

Add crop and product prices. The **Economics** mode evaluates each rate step against its break-even yield response. Steps are marked **paid off**, **did not pay**, or **break-even**. See the break-even crop price and remaining profitable headroom.

Export a **PDF report** for grower meetings. Create **new zones from this yield**. Open the layers in **Compare Layers**. This comparison is not a whole-farm P\&L. Confirm changes with trial strips before scaling them.

## Attributes Table with CSV and Excel export

Select a soil dataset to open the **Attributes Table** panel. It lists every attribute against every zone. It includes organic carbon, pH, clay, silt, sand, nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus, zone area, and an average summary row.

Show, hide, and reorder columns for your lab, advisor, or reporting template. Export the configured view directly to **CSV or Excel**. The panel collapses when unused. Values remain read-only.

## Clone polygons with measured values

The Clone polygons step now supports clone attribute values too for Soil Data, Yield, and As-Applied datasets. Choose up to three numeric attributes. GeoPard carries each value into its own rate column, one per attribute. Values persist after saving.

Retain the measurements, then adjust rates. Carried values populate application-product rate columns. They work with pricing calculations and machinery exports. Cloning without attributes works as before.

## Guidance lines for equation maps

Equation maps can now show their **machinery guideline** on the Field page.

The guidance switch offers **Off**, **AB line**, and **Path**. **Path** shows passes and headland rings in the pass colour. Turns appear dashed in the turn colour. **AB line** retains the two-point seed-line view. Use this view to check pass direction, headlands, and turns against field shape and obstacles.

## Variable-rate tillage to John Deere

Send variable-rate tillage prescriptions to John Deere Operations Center as **Tillage Work Plans**. This sits alongside existing seeding and application work plans.\

GeoPard uploads the depth prescription and creates the work plan for the matching field. The field must be synced with John Deere first.

## AI Assistant: attachments, docked mode, and faster follow-ups

The GeoPard AI Assistant now accepts **file attachments in chat**. Drop in a soil lab report or a CSV, and ask about it in plain language. **PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, TXT, Markdown, HTML are supported**.

To keep a document, **add it to a knowledge base** using the attachment icon. It ingests in the background while you work. The Assistant can use it in future sessions.

#### Docked mode

Pin the Assistant as a **resizable right-side panel instead of an overlay**. Your map, zones and layers stay visible and clickable while you ask questions. Mode and width are remembered, and switching keeps the conversation and your draft message.

#### Faster follow-ups and clearer decisions

Each answer now ends with **clickable next steps**: build a VRA map, plan soil sampling, export to John Deere Operations Center, with the field and layer already carried over. When the Assistant asks you something, **the recommended choice is marked**, and an "Other" **free-text option lets you answer in your own words**. Messages also carry timestamps now, with Today / Yesterday separators, so long sessions are easier to navigate.

### AI-Assistant on mobile

The AI Assistant is now in the GeoPard mobile app **on iOS and Android**. Same Assistant, same conversations, same history as on the web, so you can **start a question in the field and finish it at the desk.**

## Improvements

* **Manage Field menu.** The "Field Operations" menu is now called Manage Field, with simplified item labels.

* **Finer grouping in Compare Layers.** As-applied layers are grouped by year, and topography maps generated from machinery data sit in their own group, separate from the rest.
* **Deep links land on the right layer.** Opening a shared link auto-scrolls to the selected dataset across all layer types.
* **Immediate feedback on delete.** Assets disappear from the list the moment you delete them.
* **Cleaner rates display.** Product totals are hidden for depth-based units, where a total is meaningless.
* **Readable attribute names.** Machine attribute codes are mapped to human-readable names.
* **Further API and MCP coverage.** Building on the toolset released in July, the API and MCP server now also cover zones map generation and rate assignment, topography search, yield clean and calibrate, and data import for boundaries, yield, soil, as-applied, lab results and VRA zones maps.
* **Faster cleaning of large datasets.** Yield and as-applied cleaning now handles files above 1.5 million geometries comfortably.
* **Improved satellite imagery quality.** Cloud and shadow detection upgraded, and the historical Landsat archive migrated to a newer collection.
* **Soil scanner archives.** Soil scanner ZIP files are processed natively inside GeoPard.
* **Assistant answer quality.** Intent routing, planning, knowledge retrieval and documentation grounding were reworked, with an automated quality benchmark running on every change.

## Bug fixes

* **Equation zone maps create reliably.** No more "There is nothing here" when generating one.
* **Complete equation maps at custom grid resolution.** No empty patches or values placed in the wrong cells.
* **Dependable analysis maps.** Vector analysis maps generate consistently instead of failing part way.
* **Previews for low-variation attributes.** Attributes with a single value or very few distinct values now render.
* **Zones maps with detailed boundaries save.** Saving no longer times out on maps with dense geometry.
* **Safer zones map editing.** Activity elsewhere in the field no longer interferes with recovering an unsaved edit.
* **Sampling plans on complex zones.** Plans generate on zone maps whose geometry previously blocked them.
* **Select All on Print labels.** Unticking Select All in the sampling plan label popup works.
* **Clone Polygons loads soil geometry.** The source dataset is drawn instead of failing to appear.
* **Filtering zones maps by type.** Type filters return the right maps, including within a farm.
* **Lab results import from imperfect files.** The import completes when the file is only partly readable.
* **Printed labels match plan zones.** Zone names from printed labels map to the right sampling plan zone.
* **Machinery files import correctly.** Files that previously stalled now process.
* **Text values survive cleaning.** Yield and as-applied cleaning handles crop, product and variety names without failing.
* **Cleaning very small datasets.** Datasets with only a handful of points no longer error out.
* **Reliable as-applied cleaning.** Fixed a failure that stopped some as-applied datasets from processing.
* **Full colour range on soil maps.** Processed soil maps use the whole scale rather than a single colour.
* **Compare four layers at once.** The layer counter no longer includes group rows, so the limit is not hit early.
* **Comparing soil and yield datasets.** The comparison opens instead of returning an error.
* **Satellite monitoring activates.** Fields no longer sit waiting with imagery that never arrives.
* **Accurate imagery coverage.** Coverage is reported correctly, with a fallback when the primary check is unavailable.
* **Recoverable imagery and boundary errors.** A clear message and a retry replace a blank map when loading fails.
* **Topography export respects the buffer.** Exports include the configured margin around the field.
* **Deleting field data clears its map layers.** Removed data no longer lingers on the map.
* **Dates follow your language.** Season ranges and satellite dates use the selected interface language.
* **Chat clears on account switch.** Conversations from a previous login are no longer visible after switching accounts or logging out.
* **Conversations open at the newest message.** No scrolling down from the start of a long thread.
* **Your last message stays put.** The message and its reply remain in the thread after closing the panel.
* **Chat history loads fully.** Correct titles, pinned state preserved, and no blank panel on reopening.
* **Working download links.** Export links shared by the Assistant open correctly.
* **Attachments without a message.** Sending a file with no text is handled gracefully.
* **The Assistant picks up where it left off.** Conversations resume cleanly after an interruption or a long-running request.
